In 2014 a regular repair of the dredger “Caspiy” prevented us from starting the operations in the VCC before September, and the amount of the dredged material was only 260 000 m3, whereas in 2015 the initial scope of works is equal to 500 000 m3 with a potential to increase up to 850 000 m3. The said amount is essential for the VCC in the view of the Caspian Sea level decrease by 74cm. During the periods of strong winds, the upper edges of ditch get exposed that becomes an obstacle to performance of technological operations related to handling of anchors and serving the floating dredger pump. In order to do away with such obstacles our company has purchased a powerful floating transporter PTS-M.
